नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
स गर्भो दिव्यसंस्थानो दीप्तिमान् पावकप्रभ: । दिव्यं शरवणं प्राप्य ववृधे प्रियदर्शन:
sa garbho divyasaṁsthāno dīptimān pāvakaprabhaḥ | divyaṁ śaravaṇaṁ prāpya vavṛdhe priyadarśanaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Aquel niño tenía una forma celestial, resplandeciente, y brillaba con el fulgor del fuego. Grato a la vista, llegó al divino matorral de cañas (Śaravaṇa) y, nacido allí, creció día tras día».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the idea that extraordinary virtue or divine purpose is often marked by auspicious signs—radiance, beauty, and a fitting place of birth—suggesting that inner tejas (spiritual potency) manifests outwardly and calls for protection and proper nurturing.
Bhishma describes a wondrous child: even as an embryo he shines like fire, has a divine bodily form, is pleasing to behold, and after reaching the divine reed-thicket (Śaravaṇa) he is born there and grows steadily day by day.
