नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
ततस्तेज:परीताड्ग्य: सर्वा: काल उपस्थिते | सम॑ गर्भ सुषुविरे कृत्तिकास्तं नरर्षभ,नरश्रेष्ठल तदनन्तर तेजसे व्याप्त अंगवाली उन समस्त कृत्तिकाओंने प्रसवकाल उपस्थित होनेपर एक साथ ही उस गर्भको उत्पन्न किया
tatas tejaḥ-parītāṅgyaḥ sarvāḥ kāla upasthite | samaṃ garbhaṃ suṣuvire kṛttikās taṃ nararṣabha ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Luego, cuando llegó el tiempo del alumbramiento, todas las Kṛttikā—radiantes y colmadas de esplendor—dieron a luz juntas a aquel embrión, oh toro entre los hombres».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights that significant births occur according to right time (kāla) and divine order, and that collective, coordinated action can serve a larger destiny—an ethical reminder that responsibility may be shared in sustaining dharma’s unfolding.
At the moment of delivery, the Kṛttikās, described as radiant, jointly bring forth a single embryo/child. Bhīṣma narrates this as part of a larger account of origins and destined events.
