संजुहावात्मना55त्मानं स्वयमेव तदा प्रभो | यज्ञं च शोभयामास बहुरूपं पिनाकधृत्,प्रभो! पिनाकधारी महादेवजीने अनेक रूपवाले उस यज्ञकी शोभा बढ़ायी और उन्होंने स्वयं ही अपने द्वारा अपने आपको आहुति प्रदान की
saṁjuhāvātmanātmānaṁ svayam eva tadā prabho | yajñaṁ ca śobhayāmāsa bahurūpaṁ pinākadhṛt ||
Vasiṣṭha dijo: «¡Oh Señor! Entonces el Mahādeva que porta el Pināka, asumiendo muchas formas, acrecentó el esplendor de aquel sacrificio; y, por su propio ser, él mismo ofreció su propio ser como oblación».
