Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शक्ता हासि महीं कृत्स्नां वोढुं धारयितुं तथा । न हि ते किंचिदप्राप्पमन्यतो धारणादृते,“देवि! तुम सारी पृथ्वीको धारण करनेमें समर्थ हो, फिर इस गर्भको धारण करना तुम्हारे लिये कुछ असाध्य नहीं है”
śaktā hāsi mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ voḍhuṁ dhārayituṁ tathā | na hi te kiṁcid aprāpyam anyato dhāraṇād ṛte |
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Oh Diosa, eres plenamente capaz de llevar y sostener la tierra entera. Por eso, para ti, cargar este embrión no es algo inalcanzable: nada está más allá de ti, salvo lo que sería imposible sin el propio acto de sostener.»
