Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सर्वे हि वयमेते च तवैव प्रसव: प्रभो | देवानां ब्राह्मणानां च त्वं हि कर्ता पितामह,'प्रभो! पितामह! ये सब और हमलोग आपहीकी संतान हैं; क्योंकि देवताओं और ब्राह्मणोंकी सृष्टि करनेवाले आप ही हैं
sarve hi vayam ete ca tavaiva prasavaḥ prabho | devānāṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ ca tvaṃ hi kartā pitāmaha ||
Vasiṣṭha dijo: «¡Oh Señor, oh Abuelo de todos los seres! Todos nosotros—y también estos otros—somos en verdad tu propia descendencia. Pues tú eres el hacedor, el progenitor primero, tanto de los dioses como de los brahmanes».
