Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
रुद्रस्तु तेजो5प्रतिमं धारयामास वै तदा । प्रस्कन्नं तु ततस्तस्मात् किंचित्तत्रापतद् भुवि
rudras tu tejo 'pratimaṃ dhārayāmāsa vai tadā | praskannaṃ tu tatas tasmāt kiñcit tatrāpatad bhuvi ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «En aquel tiempo Rudra contuvo, en verdad, su incomparable potencia ígnea; y aun así, una pequeña porción se le deslizó y cayó allí mismo sobre la tierra.»
