Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
नेदं धारयितुं शक्ता: समस्ता इति मे मतिः । तेज:प्रभावनिर्दग्धं॑ तस्मात् सर्वमिदं जगत्
nedaṃ dhārayituṃ śaktāḥ samastā iti me matiḥ | tejaḥprabhāvanirdagdhaṃ tasmāt sarvam idaṃ jagat ||
Bhishma dijo: «A mi juicio, ni siquiera todos juntos son capaces de soportar este (tu) resplandor. Por ello, este mundo entero sería abrasado y reducido a cenizas por el poder ardiente de ese fulgor.»
