Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
शास्त्रमार्गनुसारेण तद् विद्धि मनुजर्षभ । ततः सोडन््तर्हितो बाहुः पितुर्मम जनाधिप
śāstramārgānusāreṇa tad viddhi manujarṣabha | tataḥ so 'ntarhito bāhuḥ pitur mama janādhipa ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Oh, toro entre los hombres, sabe que obré conforme al sendero establecido por los śāstras. Luego, oh rey, el brazo de mi padre desapareció de la vista».
