कपिलां ये प्रयच्छन्ति सवत्सां कांस्यदोहनाम्‌ । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतामुभी लोकौ जयन्ति ते

Transliteration

kapilāṃ ye prayacchanti savatsāṃ kāṃsyadohanām | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītām ubhī lokau jayanti te ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dijo: «Quienes regalan una vaca kapilā (de color leonado) junto con su ternero—bien adornada y cubierta con un paño—y además entregan un recipiente de bronce para el ordeño, alcanzan el triunfo en ambos ámbitos: en este mundo y en el venidero».
