Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | vidhiṁ gavāṁ paraṁ śrotum icchāmi nṛpa tattvataḥ | yena tān śāśvatāl lokān arthināṁ prāptuyād iha ||

Translation

Dijo Yudhiṣṭhira: Oh rey, deseo oír, en su forma verdadera y exacta, el procedimiento supremo relativo a las vacas: el rito del don de vacas (go-dāna). Siguiéndolo, quienes buscan mérito pueden alcanzar, aun desde este mundo, esos reinos eternos que se anhelan.
