गुरुशुश्रूषया शूरा: पितृशुश्रूषयापरे | मातृशुश्रूषया शूरा भैक्ष्यशूरास्तथापरे
bhīṣma uvāca |
guruśuśrūṣayā śūrāḥ pitṛśuśrūṣayāpare |
mātṛśuśrūṣayā śūrā bhaiṣyaśūrās tathāpare ||
Dijo Bhishma: «A algunos se les llama héroes por su devoto servicio al maestro; a otros, por servir a su padre. Algunos manifiestan su valor sirviendo a su madre, y otros, de nuevo, son “héroes” por vivir de limosnas.
