Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
यांतां ब्रह्मर्षय: सिद्धा: प्रार्थयन्ति परां गतिम् । भारत! ये गौएँ चन्द्रमाके साथ उस ब्रह्मलोकमें निवास करती हैं, जो परमगतिरूप है और जिसे सिद्ध ब्रह्मर्षि भी प्राप्त करनेकी इच्छा रखते हैं
yāntāṃ brahmarṣayaḥ siddhāḥ prārthayanti parāṃ gatim |
Dijo Bhīṣma: «¡Oh Bhārata! Estas vacas moran en ese Brahmaloka junto con la luna: un Brahmaloka que es la suprema morada, la parama-gati, y que aun los brahmarṣis consumados (siddhas) anhelan alcanzar. Hacia ese destino avanzan.»
भीष्म उवाच
