Pānīya-dāna and Anna-dāna: The Primacy of Life-Sustaining Gifts (पानीयदान-प्रशंसा / अन्नदान-प्रशंसा)
वैदूर्यार्फप्रकाशानि रौप्पयरुक्ममयानि च । सर्वकामफलाश्लापि वृक्षा भवनसंस्थिता:
vaidūryārkaprakāśāni raupyarukmamayāni ca | sarvakāmaphalāślāpi vṛkṣā bhavanasamsthitāḥ ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Algunas de esas mansiones relucen como el sol, radiantes por las gemas vaidūrya (ojo de gato); otras están hechas de plata y oro. Dentro de esas moradas se alzan muchos árboles espléndidos, que dan frutos capaces de conceder todo goce deseado.»
भीष्म उवाच
