दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च

Gifts and Their Stated Results: Footwear, Sesame, Land, Cows, and Food

इत्येतत्‌ सर्वदानानां श्रेष्ठमुक्ते तवानघ । मया भरतशार्दूल कि भूय: श्रोतुमिच्छसि

ity etat sarva-dānānāṁ śreṣṭham ukte tavānagha | mayā bharata-śārdūla ki bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi niṣpāpa bharata-śreṣṭha ||

Bhishma dijo: «Así, oh intachable, te he declarado lo que es el primero de todos los dones. Oh tigre entre los Bharata, ¿qué más deseas oír? ¡Oh irreprochable, el mejor de los Bharata!»
