Nakṣatra-yoga-anusāreṇa Dāna-vidhiḥ
Gifts prescribed according to lunar mansions and yogas
येषां दारा: प्रतीक्षन्ते पर्जन्यमिव कर्षका: । जैसे किसान वर्षाकी बाट जोहते रहते हैं
yeṣāṃ dārāḥ pratīkṣante parjanyam iva karṣakāḥ |
Bhishma dijo: «Aquellos cuyas esposas aguardan con esperanza angustiada—como los labradores esperan la lluvia—sentadas en casa, esperando el alimento, y calmando a sus hijos con la promesa: “Vuestro padre volverá en cualquier momento trayendo la comida”—¿han comido tales brahmanes en tu casa y luego han regresado a sus hogares?»
