Daiva–Puruṣakāra Inquiry: Fate and Human Effort

पापमुत्सृजते लोके सर्व प्राप्य सुदुर्लभम्‌ । लोभमोहसमापन्न न दैवं त्रायते नरम्‌

Transliteration

pāpam utsṛjate loke sarvaṁ prāpya sudurlabham | lobhamohasamāpanna na daivaṁ trāyate naram ||

Translation

Aun después de alcanzar todo lo que es dificilísimo de obtener en este mundo, el hombre puede caer en el pecado. Cuando la codicia y el engaño lo dominan, ni siquiera la fortuna divina lo protege.
