Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
नहुष बोले--विप्रवर! इन निषादोंको एक लाख मुद्रा दीजिये। (यों पुरोहितको आज्ञा देकर वे मुनिसे बोले--) भगवन्! क्या यह आपका उचित मूल्य हो सकता है या अभी आप कुछ और देना चाहते हैं? ।।
cyavana uvāca | nāhaṃ śatasahasreṇa nimeyaḥ pārthivarṣabha | dīyatāṃ sadṛśaṃ mūlyam amātyaiḥ saha cintaya ||
Cyavana dijo: «Oh toro entre los reyes, no me taséis por tan sólo cien mil. Pagad un precio digno; deliberad este asunto junto con vuestros ministros».
