कीर्तन श्रवर्णं दान॑ दर्शनं चापि पार्थिव | गवां प्रशस्यते वीर सर्वपापहरं शिवम्‌

Transliteration

kīrtanaśravaṇaṁ dānaṁ darśanaṁ cāpi pārthiva | gavāṁ praśasyate vīra sarvapāpaharaṁ śivam ||

Translation

Oh rey, oh héroe, las Escrituras alaban grandemente estos actos respecto a las vacas: cantar sus nombres y virtudes, escuchar tales alabanzas, donar vacas en caridad e incluso contemplarlas. Todo ello se declara auspicioso, capaz de borrar todo pecado y conducir al bienestar supremo.
