Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
महर्षि च्यवनका मूल्याड्कन नहुषस्तु ततः श्रुत्वा महर्षेवचनं नृप । हर्षेण महता युक्त: सहामात्यपुरोहितः,“नरेश्वर! महर्षिका यह वचन सुनकर मन्त्री और पुरोहितसहित राजा नहुषको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई
mahārṣiś cyavanakaḥ mūlyāṅkanaḥ nahuṣas tu tataḥ śrutvā mahārṣer vacanaṁ nṛpa | harṣeṇa mahatā yuktaḥ sahāmātya-purohitaḥ ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Entonces el rey Nahuṣa, al oír las palabras del gran sabio Cyavana, se llenó de inmensa alegría; y, acompañado de sus ministros y de su sacerdote familiar, respondió con regocijo.
भीष्म उवाच
A righteous king should welcome and honor the counsel of sages, taking guidance with joy and humility, and governing in alignment with dharma alongside qualified advisors (ministers and priest).
Bhishma narrates that King Nahuṣa hears Maharshi Cyavana’s words and becomes greatly pleased, standing with his ministers and royal priest—signaling acceptance of the sage’s guidance.
