Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
च्यवन उवाच राजन् नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय
cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||
Cyavana dijo: «Oh rey, oh poderoso, no soy cosa que pueda venderse por un koṭi—ni siquiera por más. Dad una compensación acorde y deliberadlo con los brahmanes».
