Varṇasaṃkara: Causes, Classifications, and Conduct-based Recognition (वर्णसंकरः—हेतु-जाति-आचारनिर्णयः)

असूयवस्त्वधर्मिष्ठा: परस्वादायिन: शठा: । आसुरादधिसम्भूता धर्माद्‌ विषमवृत्तय:

asūyavas tv adharmiṣṭhāḥ parasvādāyinaḥ śaṭhāḥ | āsurād adhisambhūtā dharmād viṣamavṛttayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma dijo: «Quienes nacen de la forma de matrimonio āsura suelen ser buscadores de faltas, hondamente adharma, usurpadores de la riqueza ajena, engañosos y propensos a una conducta contraria al dharma».
