Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
तेनैकेन तु रक्षा वै विपुलेन कृता स्त्रिया: । नान्य: शक्तस्त्रिलोकेडस्मिन् रक्षितुं नूप योषितम्
tenaikena tu rakṣā vai vipulena kṛtā striyaḥ | nānyaḥ śaktaḥ triloke 'smin rakṣituṃ nūpa yoṣitam, nareśvara ||
Dijo Vipula: «En verdad, por aquel único hombre—Vipula solo—fueron protegidas las mujeres. Oh rey, en estos tres mundos no hay otra persona capaz de guardar a las jóvenes de tal manera».
