Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
अपर त्रिचत्वारिशो<् ध्याय: देवशर्माका विपुलको निर्दोष बताकर समझाना और भीष्मका युधिष्ठिरको स्त्रियोंकी रक्षाके लिये आदेश देना भीष्म उवाच तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य शिष्यं वाक्यमथाब्रवीत् | देवशर्मा महातेजा यत् तत् शृूणु जनाधिप,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--नरेश्वर! अपने शिष्य विपुलको आया हुआ देख महातेजस्वी देवशर्माने उनसे जो बात कही, वही बताता हूँ, सुनो
bhīṣma uvāca | tam āgatam abhiprekṣya śiṣyaṃ vākyam athābravīt | devaśarmā mahātejā yat tat śṛṇu janādhipa ||
Bhishma dijo: «Oh rey, al ver llegar a su discípulo Vipula, el resplandeciente Devaśarmā pronunció entonces estas palabras. Escucha, oh señor de los hombres, lo que dijo».
