Śulka, Kanyā, and Dauhitra-Riktha: Discourse on Bride-Price and Inheritance Rights (शुल्क-कन्या-दौहित्र-रिक्थविचारः)
तस्य चिन्तयतस्तात वहूव्यो दिननिशा ययु: । इदमासीन्मनसि स रुच्या रक्षणकारितम्
tasya cintayatas tāta bahvyo dina-niśā yayuḥ | idam āsīn manasi sa rucyā rakṣaṇa-kāritam ||
Bhishma dijo: «Oh, amado mío, mientras él seguía cavilando, transcurrieron muchos días y muchas noches. Entonces, con el propósito de proteger a Ruchi, surgió en su mente una firme resolución».
