विपुलस्तु वच: श्रुत्वा गुरोश्विन्तामुपेयिवान्
vipulastu vacaḥ śrutvā guroś cintām upeyivān
Dijo Bhīṣma: Al oír las extensas palabras de su maestro, Vipula quedó hondamente inquieto, meditando qué debía hacerse conforme al deber.
भीष्म उवाच
A disciple should receive the guru’s instruction with seriousness and respond through careful ethical reflection (cintā), weighing duty and right conduct rather than acting impulsively.
Bhīṣma narrates that Vipula, after listening to his teacher’s detailed counsel, becomes concerned and contemplative—indicating an inner turn toward deciding the proper course aligned with dharma.
