Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
आहृय दयितं शिष्यं विपुलं प्राह भार्गवम् । फिर उन महा तपस्वीने मन-ही-मन उसकी रक्षाका उपाय सोचकर अपने प्रिय शिष्य भगुवंशी विपुलको बुलाकर कहा--
āhṛya dayitaṃ śiṣyaṃ vipulaṃ prāha bhārgavam |
Dijo Bhishma: Habiendo mandado llamar a su amado discípulo Vipula, el Bhārgava se dirigió a él. Aquel gran asceta, tras meditar en su fuero interno el modo de proteger lo que estaba en juego, convocó a su querido alumno y habló—poniendo en marcha una salvaguarda cuidadosa, guiada por el dharma, y no una reacción precipitada.
