वाचा च वधबन्न्धैर्वा कक््लेशैर्वा विविधैस्तथा
vācā ca vadhabandhair vā kakleśair vā vividhaiḥ tathā
Bhīṣma dijo: «Ya sea con palabras ásperas, o con ataduras y amenazas de muerte, o también con diversas aflicciones y tormentos—no se debe oprimir a los demás.»
