kāśirājyaṃ tad adyaiva tvad-arthaṃ jīvitaṃ tathā | tyajeyaṃ bhava viśrabdhaḥ kapota na bhayaṃ tava ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Oh paloma, por ti renunciaría hoy mismo al reino de Kāśī—y aun a mi propia vida. Confía en mí y descansa; nada has de temer».
