ब्राह्मणपूजा-राजधर्मः | Royal Duty of Honoring Learned Brahmins
तमुवाच भरद्वाजो ज्येष्ठ: पुत्रो बृहस्पते: । पुरोधा: शीलसम्पन्नो दिवोदासं महीपतिम्
tam uvāca bharadvājo jyeṣṭhaḥ putro bṛhaspateḥ | purodhāḥ śīlasampanno divodāsaṃ mahīpatim |
Bharadvāja, primogénito de Bṛhaspati—virtuoso en su conducta y sacerdote real—se dirigió al rey Divodāsa. Al verlo llegar, le preguntó con respetuosa solicitud por la causa de su venida, lo invitó a relatar cuanto había sucedido y le aseguró que, para su bien, emprendería lo que el rey deseara, sin intención oculta alguna.
