मातङ्ग–शक्रसंवादः
Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
शिलवृत्तेगहं प्राप्त: स तेन विधिनार्चित: । उवास रजनी तत्र सुमुख: सुखभागृषि:
śilavṛtte gṛhaṁ prāptaḥ sa tena vidhinārcitaḥ | uvāsa rajanīṁ tatra sumukhaḥ sukhabhāg ṛṣiḥ ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Al llegar a la casa de un cabeza de familia que vivía con la austera práctica de sustentarse recogiendo granos caídos (śiloccavṛtti), el hombre consumado fue honrado por él conforme a los ritos debidos. Luego el sabio pasó allí la noche con gran bienestar; su rostro estaba sereno y complacido, mostrando la satisfacción que nace cuando la hospitalidad se cumple según el dharma.»
