Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
That sincere service connected with a sacred source like Gaṅgā generates powerful merit leading to rare spiritual attainment (siddhi), widespread good repute, and access to auspicious realms—emphasizing dharmic action and reverence as ethically transformative.
A Siddha addresses the listener with a prophetic assurance: by extending fame across the three worlds and through the merit arising from service to Gaṅgā, the person will soon attain a difficult, exalted siddhi and then freely enjoy movement in the desired worlds obtained thereby.
