तथा ब्रह्मुसरो गत्वा धर्मारण्योपशोभितम् | पुण्डरीकमवाप्नोति उपस्पृश्य नर: शुचि:,धर्मारण्यसे सुशोभित ब्रह्मसर तीर्थमें जाकर वहाँ स्नान करके पवित्र हुआ मनुष्य पुण्डरीकयज्ञका फल पाता है
tathā brahmasaro gatvā dharmāraṇyopaśobhitam | puṇḍarīkam avāpnoti upaspṛśya naraḥ śuciḥ ||
Asimismo, quien va al estanque sagrado llamado Brahmasaras —embellecido por el bosque del Dharma— y, tras bañarse allí, queda purificado, alcanza el mérito del sacrificio Puṇḍarīka.
अजड्रिय उवाच
The verse teaches that sincere purification through tirtha-bathing at a sanctified place can yield the same spiritual merit as a major sacrifice, emphasizing accessibility of dharmic reward through purity and reverence rather than only through costly ritual.
