Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters

Impartiality is a key requirement of dharma: one must deal equally with all and distribute gains and increments fairly; deliberate bias in transactions and allocation is treated as a serious moral fault with grave karmic consequences.
In the Anushasana Parva’s instruction on dharma, Bhishma continues advising Yudhishthira on righteous conduct, warning that those who practice partial and unequal dealings—especially regarding profit and growth—incur sin and fall to hell.
