Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
Parāśara dijo: «Conociendo el deseo asentado en mi corazón, el más excelso entre los dioses me habló: “Oh sabio, por la fuerza misma de tu anhelo reverente hacia mí—por tu deseo de ese don—obtendrás un hijo llamado Kṛṣṇa.”»
