रुद्र-स्तवराजः (Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti

भक्‍त्या हाुनन्यमीशानं परं देव॑ सनातनम्‌ | कर्मणा मनसा वाचा भावेनामिततेजस:

bhaktyā hāunanyam īśānaṁ paraṁ devaṁ sanātanam | karmaṇā manasā vācā bhāvenāmitatejasaḥ ||

Dijo Vāyu: «Con devoción, adorad a Īśāna, el Dios supremo y eterno. Por las obras, la mente, la palabra y el sentir interior, quienes, con firmeza de un solo punto, meditan una y otra vez en Śiva, Señor del mundo y Dios sempiterno—ya estén despiertos o dormidos, caminando o sentados, incluso en el simple abrir y cerrar de los ojos—quedan dotados de una radiancia espiritual inconmensurable. Y quienes escuchan y hablan de Él, conversan sobre su grandeza y lo alaban sin cesar mediante este himno, se vuelven ellos mismos dignos de alabanza; permanecen siempre satisfechos y se deleitan en esa devoción».

Single-pointed devotion to Śiva—expressed through action, thought, speech, and heartfelt intention—purifies the devotee and yields ‘amita-tejas’, an immeasurable spiritual potency.
