सिद्धा ब्रद्मर्षयश्चैव साधु साथ्विति हर्षिता: । उस समय देवताओंकी दुन्दुभियाँ बज उठीं और साथ ही दिव्य पुष्पोंकी वर्षा होने लगी। सिद्धों तथा ब्रह्मर्षियोंको बड़ा हर्ष हुआ। वे भीष्मजीको साधुवाद देने लगे
siddhā brahmarṣayaś caiva sādhu sādhv iti harṣitāḥ | tadā devatānāṃ dundubhayo vāditāḥ saha divyapuṣpavṛṣṭiś ca pravavṛte | siddhānāṃ ca brahmarṣīṇāṃ ca mahān harṣaḥ samajāyata | te’pi bhīṣmaṃ sādhuvādena praśaśaṃsu |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: “Los Siddhas y los Brahmarishis, llenos de júbilo, exclamaron: ‘¡Bien hecho! ¡Bien hecho!’ En ese instante resonaron los timbales de los dioses y comenzó a caer una lluvia de flores celestiales. Los Siddhas y los grandes videntes se colmaron de alegría y también alabaron a Bhīṣma con palabras de aprobación.”
