सह तैर्मुनिभि: सर्वैस्तदा व्यासादिभिनन॑प । नरेश्वर! इस प्रकार सबके देखते-देखते भीष्मजीका शरीर क्षणभरमें बाणोंसे रहित हो गया। यह देखकर व्यास आदि समस्त मुनियोंसहित भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण आदिको बड़ा विस्मय हुआ
saha tair munibhiḥ sarvais tadā vyāsādibhir nṛpa | nareśvara, itthaṁ sarveṣāṁ paśyatāṁ bhīṣmasya śarīraṁ kṣaṇamātreṇa bāṇair vinirmuktaṁ babhūva | tad dṛṣṭvā vyāsādi-samastaiḥ munibhiḥ saha bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇa-ādayaś ca mahad vismayaṁ jagmuḥ |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: ¡Oh rey! Entonces, junto con todos los sabios encabezados por Vyāsa, ante la mirada de todos, el cuerpo de Bhīṣma quedó en un instante libre de flechas. Al verlo, incluso Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa y los rishis guiados por Vyāsa quedaron sobrecogidos de asombro.
