अजश्च बहुरूपश्च गन्धधारी कपर्द्यपि । ऊर्ध्वरेता ऊर्ध्वलिड्र ऊर्ध्शायी नभःस्थल:
ajaś ca bahurūpaś ca gandhadhārī kapardy api | ūrdhvaretā ūrdhvaliḍra ūrdhvaśāyī nabhaḥsthalaḥ ||
Dijo Vāyu-deva: «Él es el No Nacido y el de múltiples formas; portador de fragancia; y también el de cabellera enmarañada. Su energía vital se dirige hacia lo alto; se mueve y permanece en un modo elevado y trascendente; y reposa en la vasta extensión del cielo.»
