स्वदेशे परदेशे वाप्यतिथिं नोपवासयेत् । कर्म वै सफल कृत्वा गुरूणां प्रतिपादयेत्
Bhīṣma uvāca | svadeśe paradeśe vāpy atithiṁ nopavāsayet | karma vai saphalaṁ kṛtvā gurūṇāṁ pratipādayet ||
Dijo Bhishma: Ya sea en la propia tierra o en tierra ajena, no debe permitirse que un huésped permanezca sin comer. Y cualquier tarea que los mayores o maestros hayan ordenado, debe cumplirse con éxito y luego informárselo a ellos.
