ब्राह्मणा एव जायेरन् नान्यो वर्ण: कथंचन । को होन॑ रथमास्थाय जीवेदन्य: पुमानिह
brāhmaṇā eva jāyeran nānyo varṇaḥ kathaṃcana | ko hy enaṃ ratham āsthāya jīved anyaḥ pumān iha ||
Dijo Vāyu: «¡Que sólo nazcan brahmanes, y que ningún otro orden social surja de modo alguno! Pues ¿quién más en este mundo, aparte de este santo varón, podría haber montado ese carro y seguir con vida?»
