अजुन उवाच जीवाम्यहं ब्राह्मणार्थ सर्वथा सततं प्रभो | ब्रह्माण्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्ष प्रणणमामि च नित्यश:

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca jīvāmy ahaṃ brāhmaṇārthaṃ sarvathā satataṃ prabho | brahmaṇyo brāhmaṇebhyaś ca praṇamāmi ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

Arjuna dijo: Oh Señor, de todas las maneras y en todo momento sostengo mi vida por el bien de los brāhmaṇas. Soy devoto de lo sagrado y de lo brahmánico, y cada día me inclino con reverencia ante los brāhmaṇas.
