त॑ ममानुग्रहकृते दातुमर्हस्यनिन्दित । अनुशासन्तु मां सनन््तो मिथ्योद्वृत्तं त्वदाश्रयम्
taṁ mamānugrahakṛte dātum arhasy anindita | anuśāsantu māṁ santaḥ mithyodvṛttaṁ tvadāśrayam ||
Bhishma dijo: «Oh intachable, debes concederme este don para mostrarme tu favor. Si alguna vez yo, amparándome en ti, me desvío hacia una conducta falsa y torcida, que los virtuosos me instruyan y me corrijan».
