ते पूज्यास्ते नमस्कार्या वर्तेथास्तेषु पुत्रवत् । ते हि लोकानिमान् सर्वान् धारयन्ति मनीषिण:
te pūjyās te namaskāryā varte thās teṣu putravat | te hi lokān imān sarvān dhārayanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||
Bhishma dijo: «Ellos son dignos de reverencia; a ellos se les debe saludar. Compórtate con ellos como un hijo virtuoso se comporta con su padre. Pues los brahmanes sabios sostienen y mantienen todos estos mundos.»
