सोमादित्यान्वया: सर्वे राघवा: कुरवस्तथा । पठन्ति शुचयो नित्यं सावित्रीं प्राणिनां गतिम्
somādityānvayāḥ sarve rāghavāḥ kuravas tathā | paṭhanti śucayo nityaṃ sāvitrīṃ prāṇināṃ gatim ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Todos los reyes nacidos en la estirpe solar—los de los Rāghu—y asimismo los de la raza de los Kuru, siendo puros en su conducta, han recitado siempre, día tras día, el mantra Sāvitrī (Gāyatrī).
