तथा धर्मार्थकामेषु सिद्धि च लभते नर: । पृथुं वैन्यं नूपवरं पृथ्वी यस्याभवत् सुता
tathā dharmārthakāmeṣu siddhiṁ ca labhate naraḥ | pṛthuṁ vainyaṁ nūpavaraṁ pṛthvī yasya abhavat sutā ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Así, el hombre alcanza también el éxito en dharma, artha y kāma. Tal fue Pṛthu, hijo de Vena—un soberano excelente—para quien la Tierra misma llegó a ser como una hija».
