धर्मगुब् धर्मकृद् धर्मी सदसत्क्षरमक्षरम् । अविज्ञाता सहसारांशुविधाता कृतलक्षण:
dharmagup dharmakṛd dharmī sadasat kṣaram akṣaram | avijñātā sahasrāṃśu-vidhātā kṛtalakṣaṇaḥ ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Él es el guardián del dharma, quien establece el dharma encarnándolo en la acción, y el fundamento mismo de toda rectitud. Es a la vez lo Real y el mundo manifiesto; lo perecedero y lo imperecedero. Es el Conocedor más allá del conocedor (más allá del yo individual), el de mil rayos como el sol, el sustentador y ordenador de todo, y el portador de signos sagrados en su cuerpo.
