भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
ईश्वर उवाच पितामहादपि वर: शाश्वत: पुरुषो हरि: । कृष्णो जाम्बूनदा भासो व्यश्रे सूर्य इबोदित:,महेश्वरने कहा--मुनिवरो! भगवान् सनातन पुरुष श्रीकृष्ण ब्रह्माजीसे भी श्रेष्ठ हैं। वे श्रीहरि जाम्बूनद नामक सुवर्णके समान श्याम कान्तिसे युक्त हैं। बिना बादलके आकाशमें उदित सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी हैं
īśvara uvāca | pitāmahād api varaḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣo hariḥ | kṛṣṇo jāmbūnadābhāso vyaśre sūrya ivoditaḥ ||
Īśvara dijo: «Hari, el Supremo y eterno Puruṣa, es más grande incluso que el Abuelo (Brahmā). Ese Kṛṣṇa resplandece con una oscura y lustrosa radiancia, como el oro refinado llamado Jāmbūnada, y fulgura como el sol que se alza en un cielo sin nubes».
