कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
एष देवि सतां धर्मो मन्तव्यो भूतिकारक: । नृणां हितार्थाय मया तव वै समुदाह्ृत:,देवि! यह सत्पुरुषोंका धर्म है, उसे कल्याणकारी मानना चाहिये। मैंने मनुष्योंके हितके लिये इस धर्मका तुम्हें भलीभाँति उपदेश किया है
eṣa devi satāṁ dharmo mantavyo bhūtikārakaḥ | nṛṇāṁ hitārthāya mayā tava vai samudāhṛtaḥ ||
Dijo Maheshvara: «Oh Diosa, este es el dharma de los virtuosos; debe considerarse fuente de verdadero bienestar y florecimiento. Por el bien de los seres humanos, te he declarado esta enseñanza con claridad y plenitud, oh Diosa».
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The dharma followed by the virtuous should be accepted as inherently welfare-producing; the speaker frames the teaching as meant for the good of all humans.
Maheshvara addresses Devī and concludes or reinforces an instruction by stating that what has been taught is the dharma of the good, expounded for the benefit of humankind.
