कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
स्वागतेनैव सर्वेषां भूतानामविहिंसक: । यथार्हसत्क्रियापूर्वमर्चचन्तवतिष्ठति
svāgatenāiva sarveṣāṁ bhūtānām avihiṁsakaḥ | yathārha-satkriyā-pūrvam arcayan tu avatiṣṭhati, devi |
Mahādeva dijo: «Oh Devī, quien no ejerce violencia contra ningún ser; quien saluda a los demás con calidez; y quien permanece siempre dedicado a honrarlos con el debido respeto y una hospitalidad apropiada—ese, mediante ofrendas reverentes y actos de cortesía convenientes, se mantiene firme en la recta conducta».
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The verse praises ahiṁsā (non-harm) joined with svāgata and satkriyā—welcoming speech and appropriate honoring of others. Dharma is shown not only as inner restraint from violence but as active, fitting respect toward all beings.
