संहिताध्यायिना भाव्य॑ गृहे वै गृहमेधिना । नित्यं स्वाध्यायिना भाव्यं न चाध्ययनजीविना

Transliteration

saṃhitādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ gṛhe vai gṛhamedhinā | nityaṃ svādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ na ca adhyayanajīvinā ||

Translation

Maheshvara dijo: «El cabeza de familia, viviendo en su hogar, debe ser quien estudie las Saṃhitā y mantenga una disciplina firme en el aprendizaje. Debe entregarse al autoestudio diario, pero no ha de convertir el estudio en mero sustento».
